The Placement Cell of the college successfully organised a training program on "Sewing and Embroidery: A way to self reliance" which was meant for exploring new and creative ideas that can add extra value to the product. In rural areas like ours , we have great potential in our students who only need opportunities to show their talent. This program was a small step in this direction. Total 33 students registered themselves for this training program and explored a whole new world creativity. They learnt embroidery, painting and to make reversible jackets, cushion covers, purses, table covers etc. with scrap material. On the basis of the feedback obtained from the participants, it was analysed that this training program was very useful for the students to enhance their skills. The Placement Cell of the college will make its best efforts to organise more such type of self-employment oriented training programs in future as well.
