The Placement Cell of the college has been
established to play a vital role in shaping the career of the students and guiding the young minds by helping them to
understand their strength. It works as an interface between the students
and the industry, and not only provides the opportunity for the students to be
placed but also guides and helps them to acquire the skills required for a
bright career and makes them ready for industry. The cell organizes Placement
Fair and imparts training for competitive
examinations, basic communication skills, group discussion, interview skills,
etc. The cell has its own well stocked library having 500 competitive
books.
The convener and members of the Placement Cell
work diligently round the year to bring better opportunities for college
students and ensure that the maximum number of students participate in all
activities and get good placements according to their area of interest.
Objectives:
Ø To enhance
the employability skills among students.
Ø To
provide information about various career opportunities available in different
fields.
Ø Guide
and motivate students for higher studies and competitive exams.
Ø To arrange
Soft Skills training programs for the students.
Ø To
provide career related support.
Ø Planning
and organizing on-campus and off-campus recruitment drive to provide full time
and part-time jobs to the students.
Ø To
generate Entrepreneurship awareness amongst the students.
Ø To
organize various activities like group-discussions, mock interviews, seminars, Workshops,
Extension lectures by field experts etc.
Ø Interact
with the Corporate for Internship & Placement Activities.
Ø Promote
close Industry-Institution relationship.
Ø Discuss
the performance parameter with the experts from the industry after placement
procedures are completed.
Ø To
interact with Alumni for placements.

Achievements:
Ø The
Cell successfully organised its first ever Placement Fair during 22-23 April
2022 in which 48 students participated. Nine students (eight from GC Jassia,
Rohtak and one from Vaish College, Rohtak) got placement offers from ICICI Bank
with an average package of Rupees 2.99 Lakh per annum.
